Karnataka set to launch KHIR-City project on September 26

The Karnataka government will officially launch its ambitious Knowledge Health Innovation Research-City project on September 26, modelled after international innovation hubs like Singapore’s Biopolis and the Research Triangle Park in the US. Minister MB Patil highlighted that KHIR-City is expected to generate around 1 lakh jobs and will incorporate elements of Bengaluru’s Electronics City.
