Karnataka SHG women export kalaburagi rotti worldwide

Kalaburagi Rotti, a traditional food from North Karnataka, has entered global markets through exports led by women self-help groups. Around 1,000 women from over 100 SHGs are producing thousands of rotis every month. The initiative supports rural entrepreneurship, women empowerment and government-backed food processing. The product is also available on platforms such as Swiggy, Zomato and Amazon.
