Karnataka shortlists 27 startups to track crops from seed to plate using AI

Karnataka's Chief Secretary Shalini Rajneesh said 27 agricultural startup innovations have been shortlisted to track "each crop from seed to plate" using AI. The system aims to track produce as the government has limited visibility into what happens after it leaves the farm, she added. Rajneesh further said the government has been providing weather-related advisories to farmers using AI platforms.
