Karnataka zoo shuts after spotted deer deaths in Davanagere

Four spotted deer have died over three days at the Indira Priyadarshini Mini Zoo in Davanagere, Karnataka, prompting authorities to shut the zoo to the public. Suspected haemorrhagic septicaemia is being investigated. Veterinary teams are monitoring animals, administering preventive treatment, and sanitising the premises as lab reports are awaited.
