Condoling the death of DMK chief M Karunanidhi, billionaire Anand Mahindra described him as a giant among the male politicians of Tamil Nadu. "An iconic political leader who led with conviction," Biocon Group Chairperson Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw tweeted. Industry body CII's President Rakesh Bharti Mittal said that Karunanidhi's initiatives "contributed greatly to industrial development in the state."
