DMK President M Karunanidhi Sunday wrote to President and PM seeking conferment of "Bharat Ratna" for late Tamil Nadu CM and party founder CN Annadurai. "His literary and political works have been considered the best in Tamil Nadu," Karunanidhi said in the letter. Annadurai could be honoured with Bharat Ratna in the upcoming Republic Day, Karunanidhi added.
