Karuppu 'mistakenly' screened in North India, makers issue notice

The screenings of Suriya and Trisha Krishnan-starrer 'Karuppu' were cancelled across South India, but were accidentally screened in parts of North India. Dream Warrior Pictures held a press conference with the Tamil Film Producers Council after fearing piracy of the ₹140-crore film. Producer Dhanu stated that Qube Cinemas called it a "human error" and will be compensating for the damages.
