Karwa Chauth Udyapan: What do the rituals and rules involve

Karwa Chauth Udyapan marks the traditional conclusion of the long-term religious fasting vow. It is observed on same day as Karwa Chauth. The ceremony includes worshipping Lord Ganesha, Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, inviting married women for meal and distributing traditional suhag items.
