After the recent snowfall in upper reaches of Kashmir and Himalayan peak, Srinagar witnessed season's coldest night with temperature dipping to -3.7 degree Celsius. According to Meteorological Department(MeT), continued cold conditions have resulted in the freezing of water bodies including the Dal Lake.
