Katie Zacharia's legal background sparks scrutiny after China bar remark

White House press secretary Katie Zacharia faced scrutiny after responding, "When I moved to China", when asked which US state's bar exam she had passed. She holds a law degree and worked at a Beijing law firm; however, reports found no record of her admission to practise law in the US. Zacharia said she practised transactional law with appropriate credentials.
