Singer Katy Perry's line 'Katy Perry Collections' has pulled two pairs of shoes after facing criticism that they resembled 'blackface', wherein non-black people darken their skin using makeup or other products to imitate a black person. "I was saddened when it was brought to my attention that it was being compared to painful images reminiscent of blackface," Perry's statement read.
