Kavinder Gupta takes oath as new J&K Deputy Chief Minister

Kavinder Gupta on Monday took oath as the Deputy Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir after BJP's Nirmal Singh resigned on Sunday ahead of a Cabinet reshuffle. Singh will replace Gupta as the Assembly Speaker. "I'll try my best to meet expectations of people and work for Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh," the new Deputy CM said.
