Kedarnath Yatra stopped at Sonprayag due to heavy rainfall

The Kedarnath Yatra has been stopped at Sonprayag owing to heavy rainfall in Uttarakhand's Rudraprayag district, officials said on Sunday. "Kedarnath has been closed till further orders till the heavy rains continue," said Rudraprayag District Magistrate Mayur Dixit. More than 10 lakh devotees have visited Kedarnath Dham so far this year.
