Keep Apple AirTags away from kids: Aus regulator on battery risks

Australia's Competition and Consumer Commission has warned users to keep Apple AirTags away from young children over concerns that its button battery can be easily removed. The AirTag battery compartment's lid doesn't always secure fully on closing, it said. Apple added a warning label to AirTag packaging after an Australian retailer reportedly removed it from its shelves citing safety concerns.
