Kelly Craft appointed US envoy to UN after Senate's confirmation

Kelly Knight Craft has been appointed as the US' ambassador to the United Nations after the Senate voted 56-34 on Wednesday to approve her appointment. She will replace Nikki Haley who stepped down from the position at the end of 2018. Craft had served as an alternate delegate to the UN during former US President George W Bush's rule.
