Kenya's opposition leader to challenge presidential poll result after losing

After Kenya's Deputy President William Ruto won the presidential election, opposition leader Raila Odinga said that he would pursue all legal options to challenge the outcome. As per the official tally, Ruto narrowly beat his rival Odinga with 50.5% votes. Odinga called the figures declared by the election commission as "null and void", and his supporters alleged rampant electoral malpractice.
