Kerala Assembly passes resolution to remove CEC Gyanesh Kumar

Kerala's Legislative Assembly passed a resolution urging removal of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over alleged irregularities in electoral roll revision. Moved by CM V.D. Satheesan, it cited removal of eligible voters, marginalisation of minorities, and demanded reconstitution of the EC appointment panel to include the Chief Justice of India. Three BJP members opposed it.
