Kerala Assembly urges Union government to restore MGNREGA

The Kerala Legislative Assembly on Thursday, unanimously adopted a resolution demanding the withdrawal of the newly enacted Vikasit Bharat, Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin) (VB-GRAM-G) Act. It also urged the reinstatement of the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA), 2005.
