Kerala cafe ordered to pay ₹96,500 after woman gets sick from food

A consumer commission in Kerala ordered the operators of a cafe to jointly pay ₹96,500 to a woman who alleged that she fell ill after eating at the outlet. The woman had allegedly informed the waiter upon noticing a difference in the taste of her food, however, the waiter told her nothing was wrong. She was hospitalised for a week.
