Kerala CM opposes proposal to make Hindi medium of instruction in IITs, IIMs

Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan on Tuesday opposed a Parliamentary panel proposal to make Hindi the medium of instruction in all higher educational institutions like IITs and IIMs in Hindi-speaking states. "The essence of India is defined by the concept of 'unity in diversity'...Promoting any one language above others would destroy integrity," Vijayan wrote in a letter to PM Narendra Modi.
