Kerala couple arrested for allegedly cheating man of ₹87 lakh

Sudheer, 45, and his wife Subaida, 44, were arrested for allegedly cheating a Palakkad man of ₹87 lakh by promising him a partnership in their proposed jewellery showroom in Kerala's Mathilakam. Police said the couple collected ₹56 lakh through online transfers and ₹31 lakh in cash after offering him a partnership if he invested ₹3 crore. The investigation is ongoing.
