Kerala couple earns ₹90 lakh per year selling mushrooms

Launched in 2010 by Kerala couple Shije and Thankachan, Coon Fresh sells fresh mushrooms and value-added products. Currently generating ₹80-90 lakh annually, they aim to double revenue to ₹1.6 crore, with Coon Vita driving growth. Recently, they were honoured with the Progressive Mushroom Grower 2024 award by ICAR and the Directorate of Mushroom Research.
