Kerala court denies bail to Kochi tattoo artist in 2 sexual assault cases

A Kerala court on Friday dismissed the bail applications of Kochi-based tattoo artist Sujeesh PS in two sexual assault cases. "Granting of bail...may affect the smooth progress of the investigation...the possibility of the petitioner influencing the witnesses...cannot be ruled out," it stated. Six cases were registered against Sujeesh after an 18-year-old alleged that she was raped by him.
