Kerala declares holiday for today, 2-day mourning after Oommen Chandy's demise

The Kerala government has announced Tuesday as a public holiday and two days' mourning as a mark of respect to late former CM Oommen Chandy. The senior Congress leader passed away at a Bengaluru hospital. "Oommen Chandy was a capable administrator and a person who was closely involved in people's lives," Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan said while condoling his demise.
