Kerala father forces daughter to drink pesticide, she dies

A 14-year-old girl succumbed to organ failure on Tuesday, a week after her father made her drink pesticide for her affair with a youth of a different faith. She was hospitalised, where a magistrate recorded her statement the day before she died. Her mother told the police what happened after the father claimed the teenager tried to die by suicide.
