Kerala father gets 63-yr sentence for sexually assaulting daughter

A fast-track court in Kerala's Kalpetta sentenced a father to 63 years in prison for sexually assaulting his minor daughter and threatening her if she disclosed the abuse in 2023. The court also fined him ₹3.15 lakh. Fast Track Special Court Judge KR Krishnakumar pronounced the sentence in a case registered at Thondarnad police station. The sentences will run concurrently.
