Kerala forms SIT to probe KIIFB land acquisition irregularities

Kerala government will constitute a Special Investigation Team, headed by DIG Thomson Jose, to probe alleged irregularities in acquisition of 4,896 acres in Kannur for industrial projects via KIIFB. The SIT will include VACB officials. A preliminary inquiry precedes formal case registration. The move follows a Friday order entrusting VACB with a detailed investigation into procedural lapses.
