Kerala Health Minister refutes inaction charge amid Covid-19 rise

Following Leader of Opposition VD Satheesan expressing concern over rising cases of Covid-19 in Kerala, state Health Minister Veena George alleged that some people were trying to create unnecessary panic among the public on the matter. George said the Department had issued proper precautionary measures and carried out preparatory work including sending samples for whole genome sequencing.
