Kerala imam asks mosques to open doors for Hindus ahead of Attukal Pongala

VP Suhaib Maulavi, imam of Payalam Juma Masjid in Kerala, urged Muslims to keep mosques and homes open for Hindus visiting the Attukal Bhagavathy Temple for the Pongala festival next week. He said such gestures can counter divisive forces, adding, “We may belong to different religions. But we are all members of the family called humankind.”
