Kerala makes masks mandatory in public places, workplaces & gatherings

The Kerala government has issued an order making face masks mandatory for people in all public places, workplaces and gatherings. In its order, the state government also directed citizens to take effective measures for ensuring social distancing to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the state. Shops and theatres have been directed to arrange sanitisers and facilities for washing hands.
