Jose, a local from Kerala's Angamaly, donated ₹40 lakh to sponsor a new KSRTC bus, becoming the first private individual to do so, according to the report. He handed the cheque to CM VD Satheesan, who passed it to Transport Minister CP John. Jose wants the bus to run from Angamaly depot on a route connecting Athirappilly with southern Kerala.
