Kerala man finds hidden treasure on land bought from ₹6 crore lottery money

Kerala's 66-year-old B Rathnakaran Pillai on Tuesday found an earthen pot with 2,595 coins dating back to the erstwhile Kingdom of Travancore while tilling his plot to sow tapioca. Pillai had bought the piece of land after winning a Christmas-New Year bumper lottery of ₹6 crore in January 2018. The exact worth of the coins is yet to be ascertained.
