Kerala man gets 4 year jail term for attacking father

A man has been sentenced to four years of hard labour and fined ₹50,000 for attempting to murder his elderly father in Pathanamthitta, Kerala. The Pathanamthitta Additional District and Sessions Court (Second) found Mahendran, 44, guilty. He attacked his father while drunk by dragging him onto the road and stomping on his neck.
