Kerala man gets 62 years rigorous imprisonment for raping minor

A man in Kozhikode was on Monday sentenced to 62 years of rigorous imprisonment for raping a mentally-challenged minor girl in 2018. The friend of the fourth-standard survivor's bedridden father had raped her multiple times at an under-construction building near her house. Though he threatened the child into silence, she told a relative about the abuse. The relative informed Childline.
