Kerala man held for allegedly cheating people over overseas jobs

Police arrested a man, identified as Remo Savio Correya, in Kerala's Ernakulam for allegedly cheating several people by promising jobs and work visas in Canada, Australia and Europe. In a 2022 case, he allegedly took ₹3.25 lakh from a youth for a Canada work visa. Police said Correya has multiple cheating cases registered against him across Kerala and was remanded in custody.
