Kerala man held for allegedly swapping gold ring with fake one

Kattakkada Police arrested 56-year-old Bijukumar for allegedly trying to steal a gold ring by swapping it with a fake one at Krishna Jewellery. The former KSRTC driver reportedly pretended to buy gold before replacing a real ring with a gold-coated fake. The alert shop owner noticed the switch, stopped him and handed him over to police. An investigation is underway.
