Kerala man posing as R&AW officer arrested for duping women

Manjeri police arrested Muhammad Shibili, 30, from Malappuram for allegedly duping women on matrimony sites by posing as a senior R&AW officer. He allegedly gained a woman's trust, promised marriage and convinced her to pledge gold ornaments before taking ₹7.70 lakh. Police suspect multiple victims across Kerala and have received similar complaints from five districts.
