Kerala on high alert as IMD issues red alert for 3 districts

The IMD has issued a Red Alert for Kozhikode, Kannur and Kasaragod as extremely heavy rainfall exceeding 204.4 mm is expected within 24 hours. Orange Alerts are in place for Malappuram and Wayanad, while several other districts remain under Yellow Alert. Authorities have warned of flash floods, landslides, waterlogging and other rain-related hazards across Kerala.
