Kerala priest arrested over temple gold jewellery theft

Kerala priest Radhakrishnan Namboothiri was arrested for allegedly stealing sacred gold jewellery from Kuttamperoor Sri Durga Devi Temple in Mannar. Police said nearly 24 grams of ornaments were missing and replaced with fake jewellery. The head priest allegedly confessed to stealing a necklace and two thalis, leading to a case and further investigation.
