Kerala’s Oppam raises ₹1.5 crore to grow mental health support

Kerala-based mental health startup Oppam, founded by Ebrahim Hawaz, Abdulla Kunhi & Mubashira Rahman, has raised ₹1.5 crore in seed funding led by Phoenix Angels. The platform offers 24/7 online mental health consultations in regional languages and has completed over 20,000 sessions for Malayalees across 40+ countries. The funding will support expansion, technology upgrades and wider global reach.
