Kerala suspends offline classes for standards 1-9 for 2 weeks

The Kerala government has decided to suspend offline classes of grades 1 to 9 for two weeks in all educational institutions in view of a surge in COVID-19 cases. State Education Minister V Sivankutty said there was no considerable COVID-19 spread among students and this was only a precautionary step. The timetable of online classes would be restructured, he said.
