Kerala to approach SC over TN opening shutters of Mullaperiyar Dam

Tamil Nadu on Monday opened nine shutters of the Mullaperiyar Dam, reportedly inundating several areas in Kerala. Kerala Water Resources Minister Roshy Augustine has said that the Kerala government has decided to approach the Supreme Court over Tamil Nadu repeatedly opening the shutters of the reservoir at night. "The decision of the Tamil Nadu government was irresponsible," Augustine added.
