Kerala to declare 25 places as 'green tourism destinations'

To promote sustainable tourism and preserve its natural beauty, the Kerala Tourism department will designate 25 locales in the state as "Green Tourism Destinations" under the "Malinya Muktham Nava Keralam" scheme which aims to make the state garbage-free by March 30. Among these are Kite Beach Park in Kasaragod and Iritty Eco Park and Chal Beach in Kannur.
