Kerala to get 10-seater 'water taxis' starting October

The Kerala government has placed orders for four 10-seater 'water taxis', of which the first will be launched next month in Alappuzha district. The government said, "Just like taxis on roads, these boats will be available for the public...The boat will pick them up and drop them at their destination. The tariff will be on a per-hour basis."
