Kerala worker narrowly escapes 7-ft python while clearing bushes

A worker in Kerala's Chemboor narrowly escaped a seven-foot python while clearing bushes in a rubber plantation. He spotted the snake only when he was close to it and quickly jumped away as it lunged at him. Locals alerted the Forest Department, after which a snake rescuer safely captured the python. The snake was later handed over to officials.
