Keralam ex-DGP Tomin Thachankary sentenced to 4 years’ RI

A Vigilance Court in Keralam’s Kottayam district sentenced former DGP Tomin J. Thachankary to four years of rigorous imprisonment on Thursday. In addition to the prison term, the court also imposed a fine of ₹30.84 lakh on former IPS officer. The sentence was in a disproportionate assets case dating back to his tenure in government service.
