The Southern Railways issues a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) to the KERNEX-VRRC Consortium for two major Kavach contracts. The Kavach contract, includes the provision and installation of the Kavach (Train Collision Avoidance System) at the Chennai division. The value of the contract is worth ₹311.03 crore, out of which Kernex holds a 60% share.
