Kevin Warsh appointed as the Chairman of the US Federal Reserve

US President Donald Trump has appointed Kevin Warsh as the Chairman of the US Federal Reserve for a period of four years. Warsh will be a Member of the Board for a term of 14 years from February 1, 2026. This comes amid Trump's constant criticism of US Federal Reserve's Chairman Jerome Powell over US interest rates.
