KFC fined ₹25,000 as man claims he was bedridden for a week after eating its food

A Ludhiana consumer commission has ordered KFC to pay ₹25,000 to a man who claimed he suffered food poisoning after consuming its food in 2023. The man's complaint claimed he experienced severe abdominal pain, vomiting, weakness, and mental distress, remained bedridden for nearly a week and suffered loss of business. He claimed KFC took no action despite his legal notice.
