KGMU Lucknow bans cooking of non-veg food in hostels after UP Governor raised concerns

The King George's Medical University (KGMU) in Lucknow has banned the cooking of non-vegetarian food items at all its hostels after Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel raised concerns over the non-veg food. However, there will not be any restriction on students and hostel boarders from ordering non-veg items from outside. An official said even cooking eggs is not allowed.
